Handmade Christmas #5

Hello my Little Blossoms!

It’s soon time to decorate the tree! How exciting? (I’m excited!) The compulsory step is normally salt dough ornament making. I don’t like the texture and the dry hands so much. I wanted to try something different…

Clay Ornaments

I got the recipe from the Imagination tree blog. We use 1cup of baking soda, 1/2cup of corn starch and 3/4 cup of warm water, that’s all! (check the instructions, they are easy peasy) It’s awesome! It’s soft and it’s bright white. All I wanted.

I got my glitters (sorry my kids’ glitters haha), my cookie letter stamps. I wanted to print with leaves but it didn’t work out 🙁

Stirring the mixed ingredients over medium heat, you end up having a soft dough that looks like this.

You can get little hands to help you! Add glitters / prints / holes for the string!

The alphabet I have doesn’t have any I unfortunately… Olivia ended up Ol1v1a 🙂

You let it dry overnight and you add the string!

They are super cute. Maybe offer them to friends and family!

Aren’t custom ornaments the best?
